A Mighty Oak Tree

An oak seed planted our love building at the start
Embedded deep, roots sprouted within the heart
Took hold of us both never a tender shoot
Abiding, patient, tenacious, absolute

    A family born then grew & grew
    One acorns dropped, & then two

A mighty oak in pastures green
Mightier roots hidden, in places unseen
An oak seed planted became legacy made
Stronger for years gives life, joy & shade
