A Space Between Thoughts
Written: 16/10/2013
A prayer and a thought
A brief break from life
Remember what naught
Be told might be rife
Around you, every day
With no hope of an end
In a quiet moment say
What is broke I can mend
What is broke you can mend
But you must still your hands
Take time and tend
To those fragmented strands
Not bury your head
Nor cover your eyes
On truth be fed
Instead of staved by lies
More than a prayer
More than a thought
Measure all which you bear
Careful not to cut short
The extent of your lot
Else yourself you might rend
Force yourself to stop
And choose where, your time, to spend
