I have heard a thousand voices
Calling out, still ten thousand more
Each one growing ever louder
Ever harder to ignore

Only one voice I wish to hear
Life, breath unto my soul
For His words I ache, I hunger
With them, my heart He stole

Silence me Lord, still my tongue
Set my thoughts on Your Holy One
Lift my eyes, take my hand
Give me grace else I shan't withstand

Let my mind pursue and chase
In dreams behold Your throne
Chorus angels singing surround
From our eternal home

Seek me in my ease, my joy
Carry me through the pain
Protect me from my fears and
Sing over me once again
