A world so simple

Written: 05/06/2013

How simple the world seems
until you've dirtied your hands
Grey smudge widening, lines
that were clear black and white
To think all it took were to
follow straight; plain commands
In wisdom the changing path
becomes fervently bright

How beautiful to behold the
world's colours and its schemes
Until you see sickness, and
man's evil in their deeds
Yet hope for salvation it
can be found outside dreams
It starts with but a little faith,
growing mighty from a mustard seed
