Homemade Rocketship

Today I went to space
In my handmade rocket ship
Blast off from the kitchen
To the moon on a round trip

The sides of it were silver
And purple was its tip
The fins were shiny blue
On my homemade rocket ship

When I landed safely
A moon-man did I meet
He bowed down & clapped his head
For this is how they greet

He gave me crumpets with
Some tea on which I did sip
Then it was time to go
Home in my handmade rocket ship
