If I had...

Written: 12/12/2012

If I had a boat I would sail the open seas
Across the oceans vast
Rolling with the waves
Let down my anchors cast
Drink forth the wine we stave
A vision of you brought me to my knees

If I had a horse the countryside I'd roam
With ever changing plans
More places still to go
And time upon my hands
To destinations I don't know
A vision of you leaves me longing to go home

If I had a plane I would climb into the skies
Soaring on the wing
Adventure as a robe
Follow every wind
To the corners of the globe
Yet this vision of you is my true prize
