March of the Hounds (Part III)

Written: 13/03/2013

It's the march of the hounds
When will it end?
What is lost shall surely be found
But when will it end?

Leave your flag of peace,
for the hounds will never cease
While they still have breath,
they seek your very death
Before this night is up,
you must drink of their cup
So run my darling run,
Once the deed is done

From war's anguish depart,
hold high your heavy heart
Wash clean the muck and grime,
with more than passing time
Look up to see the truth,
weep not innocents lost youth
We've made it past the sun,
the march has not won
