One Stormy Night
Written: 12/02/2014
Crimson dusk where clouds burst aflame
With the Sun's might, yet still waning
An oncoming storm growing
Stronger in the night, foreboding veil rising
Blackening front races over unsuspecting
Land drenching, cold winds nigh
Howling through wispy bare branches
Trunks wrenching, gusts pass by
Last spark of day flashes green
Leaving only this, crescent moon's light
Growling thunder subdues but nature's call
Still persists, on this stormy night
