Psalm 2

Lord You say that no matter where I run You'll be there
If I cross the sea, scale a mountain, fall into a pit of despair
But I feel very far! Or at least somehow blind
You're close yet I'm unable to find
And deaf for that matter like my ears are blocked
It could be I'm still screaming & simply forgot

I know You are good! You have proved this true
I know You are faithful when I look to my past
So turn my head, bring Yourself into view
Still my voice, let my transfixion last

For You are good & holy, none compare
Somehow I'm always in Your loving stare
You sing over my life, You speak to me peace
And I know that You will never, ever cease
God, you're my God! A mighty ruler, my King
In Your Spirit I'll soar on eagle's wing
