Selfishness

I am a very selfish person, you may not think it.

Inside my mind, where only God can hear
I have thoughts that would, I fear,
make any see.

I am a very selfish person, but I hide it well.

It is my life, my time, my money, my pain,
my desire, my gift, my gain,
mine, mine, mine.

I am a very selfish person, though I hope to change.
