Sunrise

The beauty of a sunrise takes me to a place I've never been
Where the world begins again with You at its seem
Warmth covers my body enveloped in resplendent light
Marshal calls to rally the chorus for their morn recite
Music starts with the hallowed tune, the lore of dance
As horizon lights gleam in the morning romance
This vision grows further to the edges of all reaches
And by this I see Your spoken word that so freely teaches
Of love shown which none could ever do greater
One sacrificed life to save many once called traitor
Corridors tight and winding into wide fields open up
You pour yourself out to become the drink in my cup
Now released from bondage like a caged bird into the wild
With a home to return to and a father to call me child
- Nature
- World
- God
