The Forth Man

Written: 14/08/2011

My God ransomed His life, my debt to pay
For no other god could save in this way

This life I was given is no longer my own
Every breath I give it to Christ alone

Maybe I'm just too good at forgetting my sins
Even still every one, You to the cross, it pins

What pain You endured upon the cross
As death overcame we thought all was a loss

Yet I'm left to marvel as You turn to joy
The devil's hand, his most sinister ploy

If you've even heard a thing I've said
You would raise your eyes to look ahead

So beg for mercy whilst you still can
For one day you'll be judged by the undefeated man
