The King

Before the night, before the day,
Before the world and creation lay,
Before the heavens and the earth,
Before the light had been birthed.
Before it all stood the King.

Above the sky's, above the clouds,
Above the stars and all that shrouds,
Above the fears and the woes,
Above all evil, above all foes.
Above it all stands the King.

After the storm, after the sun,
After all war and battles are done,
After the rise, after the fall,
After man, his descendants and all.
After it all will stand the King.
