Tired of the same old Cliches

Written: 11/02/2011

Finding a good man is like searching for a needle in a haystack
And although good things come to those who wait
It could be the case that it's too little too late
But then again: never say never

Even if it does take two to tango
Don't forget two wrongs don't make a right
Beauty may well be in the eye of the beholder
But alas, we all know love is blind

So be careful of what you wish for
Because misery really does love company
The early bird may well get the worm
But it is the second mouse that gets the cheese

So is it "he who dares, wins"
Does "fortune favour the brave"
Or will it be the meek who inherit the earth?
You catch more flies with honey than vinegar

And if actions really speak louder than words
Remember it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease
But you can cross that bridge when you come to it
Still, I'm tired of the same old clichés
